So what if one man & his team decided to up the ante?! And suddenly the govt & many more are here to 'define' democracy like they were ever serious of understanding the core of it! Sixty four years of Independence & the average citizen still feels he is being over-ruled by a bunch of no-show idiots looting him & his country of billions. So what is it with this rage amongst the people, a frenzy one good old man managed to ignite. Am sorry, did anyone say this isn't the way to go to have your voice heard in a democratic system? That this is some kinda blackmailing! Am pretty much sure 'patience' does fade out, over a decade or two & yet you don't see stricter laws to end this menace while the scams & money laundering grow larger than the British raj managed to scoop in their century long stint in this country. The rage in the minds are beyond 2G & CWG, it is as small & specific to a pothole in the road to lack of basic amenities and much more. People are FED UP! The PEOPLE on the whole might not know/understand the implications of the Jan Lokpal Bill, but they are here for a bigger cause which being stricter laws & their implementation on the corrupt ranging from the clerk at a govt office to the highest authorities running the show. We the PEOPLE don't know who can we trust anymore? The ministers, the judiciary, even sections in the armed forces are being charged with corruption! Either we rise now or see the society's miserable fall against the corrupt in years to come. Not supporting Anna Hazare, his method, idealogy doesn't make one pro-corrupt. But joining this movement, raising your voice demanding a corrupt free system is bloody well your duty then a right! It is now or never, voice your rights to curb the menace & do your duty by saying NO to paying bribe! CHANGE has to happen from the society first, to see it happen on the system this society creates.
