Save Lalbagh, lets fight for it...

In a sheer example of bad governance to which Bangalore has been a victim over the few years, here comes another major setback for the city's image. The North-South corridor of the Bangalore Metro to "cut" through the city's prominent lung space i.e Lalbagh!!! While global warming & climate change remain a major concern, our Govt. plans to "sacrifice" a heritage green patch of the city to accomodate Metro!!! Call it insensitiveness or a purposeful act to create political drama,  the Govt. portrays a "Who Cares?" attitude towards the issue. As true citizens & proud Bangaloreans, its the duty of each one of us to strongly condemn the idea and insist on a re-alignment of the Metro route. Considering both Metro & Lalbagh are important in their own prospects to the city, we need to make our voices heard. The time is now...
